Founder & CEO

Dr. Nancy Anne Lang
Dr. Nancy Lang co-founded Safari West with a vision rooted in research, education, conservation, and deep respect for wildlife — transforming the shared dream of Nancy and Peter Lang into a nationally recognized wildlife preserve and conservation partner where guests form meaningful connections with animals and the natural world.
As Safari West moves into nonprofit stewardship, Nancy continues to serve as a guiding voice and hands-on leader, helping ensure that every step forward remains grounded in the care of the animals, the integrity of the land, and the mission that has shaped Safari West from the very beginning.
In an industry where women remain underrepresented in top executive and wildlife leadership roles, Nancy’s continued leadership as Owner and CEO of Safari West reflects not only decades of personal dedication, but also a powerful example for the next generation of conservation professionals.
