Bringing Wildlife Wonder to Children’s Hospitals
Safari West LIVE is an interactive virtual safari experience created especially for children in hospitals. Through real-time video broadcasts, young patients join our naturalists on a journey across the Safari West preserve—meeting giraffes, cheetahs, zebras, wildebeest, and other incredible animals from the comfort of their hospital rooms.
These broadcasts offer curiosity, joy, connection, and a moment of escape during long hospital stays.
What the Program Provides
- Safari West LIVE is designed to support children’s wellness, learning, and emotional resilience:
- Real-time animal encounters led by trained naturalists
- Interactive Q&A, letting young patients guide the adventure
- Hope, comfort, and distraction during difficult days of treatment
- Age-appropriate wildlife and STEM-focused learning
- Special celebrations, including birthdays and milestone moments
Safari West LIVE brings both education and delight to children who cannot travel or participate in outdoor learning experiences.
